Meet the Sandalwood Leopard, an incredibly rare and special color variant of the Indian leopard! Discovered by the wonderful folks at the Holématthi Nature Foundation in Karnataka's Vijayanagara district, this leopard is unlike any you've seen. Instead of the usual tawny coat with bold black rosettes, it sports a delightful pale reddish-pink hue adorned with light brown rosettes, reminiscent of sandalwood. Named after the beautiful region it was found in, this extraordinary creature symbolizes the rich identity and heritage of Karnataka.
